Meet Holly Montgomery, Creative Director of the Wytheville Opera Company. Holly has had a remarkable career in the performing arts and a passion for community involvement. Based on the original company that was founded in 1895, this modern version brings education, creativity and pop-up performances of the classics.
Wytheville Opera Company
History
The Wytheville Opera Company is based on the original company that was built in 1895. It was housed on the corner of Church and Spring Streets in Wytheville. Sadly, the structure was destroyed by a fire in 1933. 91 years later, the company is making a revival in the historic Formato Fine Arts gallery located in downtown Wytheville, Va.
Wytheville Opera Company: Where Creativity Meets Performance
Opera Workshop Jr. (Children ages 3-7)
This class teaches music and movement to your young artist. This class meets on Saturday mornings from 10:30 to 12:00 from September 7 thru October 26. The cost of this class is $280. A $50 deposit is due at registration. $115 is due by September 7, and the balance of $115 is due by October 5.

Host your micro event with us
Want to host your event here in our beautiful gallery? Our space is intimate, so we suggest parties of no more than 60 people. We offer several options from renting the gallery, to us planning food, beverages and entertainment for you. Complimentary in-person consultations available at the gallery upon request.
